Passion of Our Lord: There will be a meeting in the Kilmore on Tuesday night 12th of March at 8.30pm, to discuss an outdoor presentation of the Passion of Our Lord, on Good Friday evening. All are welcome.

Jack & Jill Playschool:  A Fundraising Quiz will take place, in aid of the Jack & Jill Playschool, on Friday the 15th of March at 9.30pm, in Campbell’s bar, Ballinlough. €10 per person – Teams of 4. All welcome. Please support.

Sunday 17th of March from 1.15pm to 5.15 pm, Castlebar Parish Church. Led by Fr. Angelo Joy, Kilconly and Fr. Bobit Thomas. Praise, Worship and Healing Prayer, Talks and Eucharist Adoration after 12 noon Mass. All are welcome.

10th West of Ireland Women’s Mini Marathon, Sunday May 5th, Castlebar. Western Care Association is seeking individuals & groups to take part in the 10th West of Ireland Women’s Mini Marathon, on Sunday May 5th in Castlebar. Sign up before March 31st with Western Care and we will pay your registration free. We will also provide the following support to all our  participants – Registration – we do all the work, collection of Race Numbers, Free Tee Shirt, Free car parking & access to toilets, refreshments, etc on the day at our Head Office, just 100 meters from the start / finish at the Mall Allocation of funds raised to any Western Care Centres & Services of your choice throughout Co. Saint Patrick’s Day in Granlahan:

The Children from Granlahan N.S. will play traditional Irish music at the 12 o’ clock mass in Granlahan church on Sunday March 17th. Come and join us in our celebration of the Feast of Saint Patrick.

Enrolment  packs for children starting in Junior Infants in Granlahan National School, next September, are now available at the school. Please call to the school at anytime during the school day.

Bereavement Support Group: – The Knock Bereavement Support Group, which meets at the Family Centre, every Wednesday at 11am, will also meet on Wednesday evenings during Lent at 8pm. Active Retirement Meeting:  will take place in Granlahan Centre, at 2pm, on Tuesday 12th of March. A Speaker will be in attendance. All Members invited & New Members welcome.

Monthly Monster Bingo: Our Monthly Monster Bingo continues this Sunday 10th of March at 4pm, in Dunmore Community Centre. Jackpot of € 500 in 45 calls with a total prize fund of € 1,150. Complimentary  tea, coffee & biscuits will be served at the interval, kindly sponsored by Dunmore Community Centre. See you there!

First Confessions: Congratulations to the Children from Cloonfad N.S., who celebrated their First Confessions, on Tuesday last. Thanks to the pupils themselves, to their parents / guardians, to their teachers on how well they were prepared, for the celebration of this sacrament.

A Children’s Liturgy Workshop: with Kathleen Duffy, takes place in the Prayer Centre, Knock Shrine, on Saturday 23rd of March, from 11am to 1pm. 24th Eucharistic Loreto Vigil: takes place in the parish church, Knock Shrine, on Monday 25th of March 2019, from 8.30pm to 12.30am.

Monday Meets 55+: Continues at Clare Court, Ballyhaunis, on Monday 25th of March at 11am and is hosting, a Glass Painting Workshop. Cost €10. New Members always welcome.

Knock Shrine Society: is seeking new members to join Càirde Mhuire – Our Lady’s Volunteers. This opportunity is open to men & women over the age of 18, who wish to assist the sick Knock Shrine & to participate in the liturgical ceremonies.
