CONGRATULATIONS to the First communion Class and their teachers and parents/guardians and families who prepared the children so well. Sincere thanks to Fr Joe and the many people that assisted with the beautiful Mass enhanced by the childrens choir and organist Georgina Costello, musicians Kathy Greene and Ava Coleman. Thank you also to the Parents Council for the lovely party for the children and refreshments for all the adults in the Community Centre after the mass.

ROSARY The Rosary continues in Cloonfad Church each evening during the month of May at 7p.m .

CLOONFAD MENS SHED. The inaugural meeting of this group will take place in the Community Centre on Friday 17th May 10.00 am – 2pm. New members welcome.

CLOONFAD DEFIB GROUP. Training in the use of the Defibs takes place in the Community Centre on Saturday 18th May 10.30 – 1p.m. All previously trained has now expired and requires retraining. Limited places. Booking essential. Contact Linda 0871271684 (Fee €10 per person)

Scripture Summer School in Knock from 14th May until 17th May inclusive. This year we celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Apparition. The theme for this year’s Scripture School is ‘Come to the Feast’ – Biblical reflections on Eucharist. Facilitated by Fr Kieran O’Mahoney, Jessie Rogers & Sean Goan.
