EASTER GREETINGS I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable Easter. Easter is a holy time of year. Let us say the few prayers and realise that God is very near and close to us. So I thank all who took part in the Easter Ceremonies. It was pleasant to see the Cross carried again this year from Cloonfad cemetery to the church. I compliment all the people involved.

It was also pleasant to see the Passion of our Lord played in drama in Ballinlough Church grounds. Lots of hard work went into this. I know it helped a lot of people to realise more how much Jesus Christ suffered; his cruel death that we might have an eternal life. Congratulations to all involved.

The Lord provided us with beautiful weather for the Dawn mass at Lake O’Flynn. So many people from the three church areas took part and attended. The Rising Sun, the fresh air of the morning, the beauty of nature all around us, encourages every one to give glory and praise to God. The generosity of so many people helping out, making available what was needed can only be admired. May God reward everyone with peace and happiness. Fr. Joe
