FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS – Friday 28th June. The Novena starts on Thursday 20th June in Cloonfad Church @ 7p.m
and Ballinlough and Granlahan @ 8p.m. Prayer leaflets at the back of churches. The mass for this feast day in honour of the Sacred Heart will be in Granlahan Church on Frid 28th @ 10.00 a.m
COLLECTION FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE PRIEST OF THE PARISH Many thanks to all the people who contributed to the Summer collection for the support of the priest of the parish.
KNOCK SHRINE Special Days for the Sick On the last Thursday of each month, from May to September, there is a special ceremony for the sick at 3 p.m Mass in Basilica. – Stations of the Cross and Rosary procession at 2.p.m. Concelebrated Mass with special homily followed by anointing of the sick, Eucharistic adoration and Benediction at 3 p.m
First Anniversary Mass and Book Launch for Fr. Patrick Burke ,will take place on Saturday 29th June at 7.30pm in the Basilica. This will be followed by the launch of a book of photographs by Fr. Patrick Burke entitled ‘The Journey of a Shepherd’. The book also features some reflections and quotations from various sources and will be a lasting and fitting tribute to his memory. Food and refreshments served. All proceeds to charity. All welcome
