Holy Land Pilgrimage 2018: Fr. Benny McHale (Athenry) has organised a pilgrimage to The Holy Land (his thirty seventh) from June 26th to July 6th 2018. As occupancy fills up very quickly it is advisable to contact him as soon as possible at 091-844227. The Holy Land is very safe – in fact it is the safest place in the Middle East at the moment and pilgrims need have no worry about security.
Day Retreats at Knock: Take some time out for a quiet day with prayer and reflection. Retreats will take place on Sat. 243th Feb, Sat. 24th March and Sat. 28th April in the Prayer Guidance Centre from 11am- 3pm. Cost €30 includes lunch. Groups welcome. ‘Stabat Mater Delorosa: A day of reflection on the mother of Jesus at the foot of the Cross’
A talk with Fr. Michael Dunleavy OP. Saturday 17th February. Using the music of composer Pergolesi and the art of Renaissance artist Fra Angelico, Fr Dunleavy will mediate on the ‘Sabet Mater Dolorosa’ and the suffering of Mary during the Passion of her son. Takes place in the Prayer Guidance Centre, Knock Shrine from 11am-3pm. Cost €30 (includes lunch)
