In May 2018 Archbishop Neary established a new Diocesan Planning Group to draw up a plan for the Archdiocese of Tuam for the years  2020 and beyond. The group has 15 members lay and ordained. To date the group has listened to experiences of priests who have ministered in various parts of the world including India, Africa, England, New Zealand and Canada as well as a representative from Killaloe diocese on the recent pastoral developments there. Now the group has decided to undertake a broad consultation with communites, pastoral councils and priests within our own diocese. They hope to have made significant progress between now and Autum and so enable a draft Pastoral Plan for the Archdiocese of Tuam to be drawn up, circulated and discussed, and to that end will be in touch with priest and pastoral councils soon.Retirement evening for Mary Connolly & Maria Regan Carrick NS on Sat 25th May at 7pm in Campbells, Ballinlough. All past & present pupils welcome.
