Care of the Churches:  Ballinlough: Our thanks to the people of Coolougher, Churchboro and Fort Augustus for looking after the flowers during the month of October.   Would the people of Marystown and Cloonlish take care of them during the month of November please.

 

Granlahan: Sincere thanks to Group A who took care of the church during the month of October.   Would Group B look after it during the month of November.   Group B:  Fiona Ruane, Maureen Burke, Kathleen O’Gara and Pauline Neary.

Novena of Masses:  We hope to have a Novena of Masses for the Holy Souls, starting on All Souls Day, Wednesday 2nd November.    Envelopes will be at the doors of the churches.

 

Carrick NS Table Quiz:   Carrick NS will be holding a fundraising table quiz in Campbell’s Bar on Friday 4th November @ 9pm.  Your support would be very much appreciated.

Thanks:  Sincere thanks to all the people who contributed to the collection last weekend for the support of the missions.  Thanks also to the many people, adults, teenagers and children who took part in The Harvest Festival in Ballinlough and Granlahan churches, and to all the people who attended the Granlahan Parish Pastoral Council meeting on Wednesday last, and finally thanks to the many parents who attended the talk to parents by Siobháin Bradley on Tuesday evening last.

Jack & Jill Community Playgroup will be hosting a Halloween Disco for under 12’s as a fundraiser on Monday 31st October in Todd Campbell’s from 6pm-8pm.   Prizes galore on the evening and for the best dressed!    Disco by Freebird.   All children must be accompanied by an adult.  All support would be greatly appreciated.

 

Retired Nurses:  Mass for deceased nurses in St. Patrick Church, Castlerea on Wednesday 9th Nov. @ 11am, followed by refreshments in McGoartys, Main Street, Castlerea.

 

A public mini-vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Friday 4th November.   Confessions take place from 8-9pm with vigil in the Parish Church until midnight.   All are welcome to join in prayer.
