Autumn Collection for support of the priest of the parish is taken up this weekend.

 

First Holy Communion:  Siobháin Bradley will give a talk to the parents/guardians of all the children receiving First Holy Communion this year, and also to the parents/guardians of children receiving the sacrament of Confirmation this year in Granlahan Community Centre on 2uesday 25th October @ 8pm.

 

Leading God’s People in Prayer with Mary Connolly:  As part of the Faith Renewal Programme at Knock Shrine, a training and formation course entitled “Leading God’s People in Prayer” will take place on Thursday 6th and 13th October at Knock House Hotel from 8pm-10pm.   These evenings are to help participants in leading public in their local church.   Those wishing to participate need to complete the booking form which is available on the Knock Shrine website:

Granlahan 25 Card Game Results:  The first card game of the  season took place last Monday night and the following are the winners:  1st Seamus Murphy, Jimmy Scally, 2nd Michael Hussey, Gerald Vizard, 3rd Sean Caulfield, Francis Conroy.   Raffle Winners: Paddy Conroy, Seamus Murphy, Jimmy Scally.   Don’t forget, game every |Monday night @ 8.30!   All are welcome.

 

Granlahan Sports Committee are holding a meeting on Thursday night 13th Oct. @ 9pm to discuss cancellation of sports.  Anyone interested please attend this important meeting.
