First Holy Communion Confirmation: :  Siobháin Bradley will give a talk to the parents/guardians of all the children receiving First Holy Communion this year, and also to the parents/guardians of children receiving the sacrament of Confirmation this year in Granlahan Community Centre on 2uesday 25th October @ 8pm.

Sunday 23rd October is Mission Sunday.   It is a day when we pray for the success of the Missions in foreign countries.   A collection will also be taken up to help with the great work of education, human development and the teaching of skills that the missionaries carry out.

 

The Harvest Festival will be celebrated this year in Ballinlough and Granlahan churches.   Ballinlough:  Sunday 23rd Oct. @ 11am.   Granlahan:  Sunday 30th Oct. 12 noon.

 

Many thanks to all the people who contributed to the Autumn collection for the support of the priest of the parish.

 

Grandparents Mass:  We hope to have a special grandparents Mass in Granlahan and Ballinlough churches later on.

 

A National Day of Thanksgiving for Canonisation of Mother Teresa Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency Charles Brown, Papal Nuncio to Knock Basilica on Sunday 23rd October at 3pm.  All are welcome to join in prayer on this wonderful occasion

Active Retirement Meeting on Tuesday 18th October @ 3pm in Timeout Café, Ballinlough.   Guest speaker will attend. All members welcome and new members most welcome.

 

Kiltullagh Branch Special Needs Association celebrate its 40th anniversary with a Remembrance Mass for all deceased members in Granlahan Church on Friday 21st Oct. @ 7.30pm.   Light refreshments will be held afterwards in the Community Centre.   Everybody welcome.
