Ash Wednesday the beginning of Lent is on Wednesday 6th March. This time of year reminds us all to do penance and to return to the love of God.

Save Ballinlough Dispensary Dr. Cleary is retiring in March and there is a danger that the Dispensary may close. A Petition to save this building is in shops and pubs in the area, please sign this Petition. It is an invaluable resource, one which could be further developed and become the Ballinlough Hub, if gifted to the community. A public meeting will be held later.
