Ash Wednesday the beginning of Lent is on Wednesday 6th March. This time of year reminds us all to do penance and to return to the love of God.

Save Ballinlough Dispensary Dr. Cleary is retiring in March and there is a danger that the Dispensary may close. A Petition to save this building is in shops and pubs in the area, please sign this Petition. It is an invaluable resource, one which could be further developed and become the Ballinlough Hub, if gifted to the community. A public meeting will be held later.
Granlahan Foróige Club are hosting their Annual Fundraising 25 Card Game on Monday 25th February at 8pm in Granlahan Community Centre. Tickets €5 each. Raffle and refreshments served on the night. Please support.

Launch of Spring Edition of New Dawn The twenty-second edition of New Dawn will be launched on Thursday night next February 21st. The Parish of Balla and Belcarra is the featured Parish in this edition. The magazine will be launched in the Resource Centre, Balla on Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
