Carrick NS Table Quiz: Carrick NS will be holding a fundraising table quiz in Campbell’s Bar on Friday 4th November @ 9pm. Your support would be very much appreciated.
Jack & Jill Community Playgroup will be hosting a Halloween Disco for under 12’s as a fundraiser on Monday 31st October in Todd Campbell’s from 6pm-8pm. Prizes galore on the evening and for the best dressed! Disco by Freebird. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All support would be greatly appreciated.

A Word from those preparing to serve as priests in Tuam Arch Diocese: There are seven clerical students for the Archdiocese, the highest number in many years. Aidan Gallagher, Louis burgh is in his final year studies and will, please God be ordained next summer. Herald Quirke, Tuam is in Third Divinity and Shane Costello, Taugheen has begun First Divinity. Ronan Armstrong, Claremorris is in his final year of philosophy and Pio Hartnett, Clifden is in second philosophy. Two new students have begun their seminary training, Eric Hynes, Aughamore is studying for an Arts degree and David Leija, originally from Texas, has started in the Irish College in Rome. We would like to thank you all for your continued prayerful support and encouragement Seminary training is challenging but rewarding and the support we receive from so many people is always greatly appreciated.
