CHY4 Forms (tax relief on donations to charities) for the tax year 2018. If you are a tax payer (either employed or self employed) and donated €250 or more to the church during the year 2018 by way of weekly offerings, priests quarterly collections or any other form of donation, we would kindly ask you to complete and return a CHY4 form as soon as possible. Forms available at the church doors or simply google CHY4 to download.
This is a very valuable source of funding for our church that actually costs you the tax payer nothing because individuals cannot personally avail of the tax relief themselves. Selfemployed – if you have a tax liability for 2018, claims can be submitted now regardless of whether you have to submit a tax return to revenue for that year.
