Fr. Sean Deegan, would like to thank all the people of the parish for the warm welcome afforded to him last weekend, in Cloonfad, Granlahan and Ballinlough and wishes to thank you for your generous donations to their Society and the support you give them by your prayers. You will all be remembered in the prayers of the Society                                             Ballinlough/Granlahan Defibrillator group wish to thank everybody who took part in their walk on Easter Monday from Granlahan to Ballinlough, and to the Youth Café who provided refreshments. A big thank you also to all who contributed to the Church gate collection.

Monthly Monster Bingo takes place Sun. 10th May @ 4pm in Dunmore Community Centre. Jackpot of €500 in 45 calls. Total prize fund of €1150. Complimentary tea coffee and biscuits at the interval.

Lough Derg will hold a special day retreat “Hope and Encouragement for a new beginning”, on Wed 20th May. Fr. Ben Hughes, who promotes healing and well-being will facilitate the day which will be beneficial to anyone who is living with or struggling with any issue that is holding them back or hurting their life. Advance booking essential. Contact 071 9861518. Knock Counselling Service is available on Saturdays and Sundays 11am-5pm form now until October. Drop in appointments are often available for mid week also. Contact 094 9375032 or call into the centre which is located next to the Chapel of Reconciliation. A donation is requested towards the provision of this Service.

Weekly Prayer Meeting will commence in the Parochial Hall, Ballyhaunis, on Thursday, May 14th and every Thursday night @ 8pm. All welcome.

A walk in the footsteps of St. Patrick along the once Royal Chariot Road. To be challenged by the 22 miles that was a Pilgrim path down through the ages. To absorb the rich Heritage that is embodied at every turn along the way. To have the Spirits raised by the environment and the encouragement of companions. To take time to discover the deeper meaning of life. To find greater peace in our relationship with ourselves, others and with God. The Tochar Phadraig Pilgrim walks from Ballintubber Abbey to Croagh Patrick take place Sun 30th May departing Abbey 8.30 am. Back up car will accompany walkers. Contact 094 9030934.
