Archbishop Neary will lead the Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock on Sunday May 3rd. The ceremonies will commence with the Blessing of the Sick at 2.30pm.

Knock Counselling Centre provides a confidiential Drop-In listening service for the local community and for visitors to Knock offering an opportunity to discuss personal issues in a confidiential environment. It is available on Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 5pm from the end of April to October and often mid-week also. Western Care Association is looking for ladies to take part in the Western People West of Ireland Womens Mini Marathon in Castlebar on Sunday May 3rd. Call 094 9029144. Closing date for entries is Friday April 24th. Please support Western Care Association local services county-wide.

Fundraising dance to raise funds for the new theatre equipment for Temple Street and Crumlin Childrens Hospitals in the Ard Rí Hotel on Saturday 18th April. Doors at 9pm. Ballyhaunis Community School class reunion – Leaving cert class of 1985, Could those attending please return their invitations by the end of April, or make contact with the organising committee. The reunion itself will be held Sunday 31st May , the bank holiday weekend.

Marriage is of fundamental importance for children, mothers and fathers and society.- all of us need to reflect deeply before changing it. Ahead of the referendum on 22nd May, bishops ask the faithful to carefully consider that Married love is a unique form of love between a man and a woman which has a special benefit for the whole of society.

Underage GAA:  Training Programme (indoor) for underage Boys and Girls commences in Michael Glaveys on Monday 13th April.  Under 6 & 8 Boys and Girls 7.30 – 8.00pm.  Under 8 and Under 12 Boys and Girls 8.00pm-9.00pm.  All players and parents are requested to attend.  County board trainers are attending to facilitate programme.
