The Rosary continues to be recited in all our churches during the month of May in honour of Mary the Mother of God.
Monster Summer Fundraising Draw for Jack & Jill Community playgroup will be held at a fundraising event in the Tap Bar Sun. 2nd August. The Annual Sponsored walk to raise funds for Granlahan School will take place on Sun. May 24th @ 3pm.Refreshmenrts afterwards in the Community Centre. All support greatly appreciated.

A special meeting will be held in The Youth Café, Ballinlough on 27th May @ 8.30 pm. to put plans in place for the 2016 celebration. Ritchie Farrell, the representative from Roscommon County Council who is co-ordinating this special event for the County will be present. All are welcome.

Roscommon Solstice Choir are performing in St. Patricks Church, Castlerea, Sunday 7th June @ 8pm. Special guest is Des Willoughby of the Willoughby brothers. All funds raised go to Irish Pilgrimage Trust, supporting local children with special needs for holidays and respite care. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Adm. €.10. Children U16 free.

Michaela Summer Camp for girls:-20th -24th July-The Hub, Knock Shrine. A walk in the footsteps of St. Patrick along the once Royal Chariot Road. To be challenged by the 22 miles that was a Pilgrim path down through the ages. To absorb the rich Heritage that is embodied at every turn along the way. To have the Spirits raised by the environment and the encouragement of companions. To take time to discover the deeper meaning of life. To find greater peace in our relationship with ourselves, others and with God. The Tochar Phadraig Pilgrim walks from Ballintubber Abbey to Croagh Patrick take place Sun 30th May departing Abbey 8.30 am. Back up car will accompany walkers. Contact 094 9030934.
