A Mini Vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Friday 7th July in the Parish Church. Confessions will take place from 8pm – 9pm followed by vigil until Midnight. All are welcome to this special evening of prayer.
The Rally for Life will take place this Saturday, 1st July in Dublin City Centre. Organised by the Life Institute, Youth Defence and Precious Life, it is an opportunity for pro-life supporters from all over Ireland to gather and show solidarity with unborn children and their mothers. The Rally takes place at 2pm and starts at the Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square.
Bingo will be held on Sunday 2nd July in the Community Centre Dunmore. Jackpot Prize €100 must go. Usual prizes and a raffle.
Catholic Grandparents Association – Grandparents Thanksgiving Mass – Tuam Cathedral- 26th July at 10am. The Feast Day of St. Joachim and St. Anne, Parents of Mary, Grandparents of Jesus. Chief Celebrant- Archbishop Michael Neary – Patron CGA – light refreshments after mass, everyone welcome. Mission Statement: To help grandparents pass on the faith and keep prayer at the heart of family life.
Family Focus Week returns from the 10th – 15th July at Family Centre, Knock Shrine. The programme includes daily evening and morning workshops, guest speakers and topics to engage and guide through the challenges of family life. A Charity Muffin Day will take place in the Oak Café, Bridge St., Ballyhaunis on Friday next, July 7th from 9am to 5pm. All funds raised will go to Western Care Association local services and the Tough Mudder Challenge. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
