Many thanks to the many people who helped with the Corpus Christi Procession this year: I thank all the families who erected an altar to show honour and devotion to the Blessed Eucharist, carried in procession: Thanks to all the people who organised the procession in the different churches and those who took part in the procession itself, a special word of thanks to all the children, First Holy Communion children and others, the children and choir who sang so beautifully for us. As we thank God for the beautiful day may He keep us safe during the coming year.

 

Padraig Keane Memorial Race: The Padraig Keane Memorial 10km and 5 km run around the lake race will take place Saturday 1st July at 3pm. This year the race is in aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation fund and the Ballinlough / Granlahan defibrillator group. You can run walk or jog. All categories catered for, so please come along and take part in this fun filled event. A special raffle will be held for all U16 participants.

 

Sincere thanks to all who attended Wednesday night’s meeting in Ballyhaunis in preparation for a liturgy in the absence of a priest.

Watch masses online from Knock Shrine – the daily 3pm Mass in the Basilica is now being streamed live. The 12 noon Sunday Mass is also available to watch online at www.knockshrine.ie/watch and recordings of all Sundays Masses are also available on the Knock Shrine You Tube channel.

 

Knock Counselling Centre Drop – In Service offers people an opportunity to discuss difficult or challenging life issues in a caring and confidential environment.  People attend single sessions to reflect on and discuss personal issues or concerns. No appointment necessary. Available Thursday: 10am-5pm, Friday: 2pm-5pm, Saturday and Sunday:  11am-5pm.
