Times of Holy Week Ceremonies

Holy Thursday Ballinlough 8pm / Cloonfad 8pm / Granlahan 9pm

Good Friday Cloonfad 2.15pm, cross is carried from cemetary to Cloonfad Church for Good Friday ceremonies at 3pm. Good Friday 3pm Stations of the Cross, Granlahan with Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion is distributed. Ballinlough, Good Friday ceremonies.

Holy Saturday night 8pm Granlahan. Easter ceremonies.

Easter Sunday Cloonfad 10.30am. Blessing of Easter Water. Paschal Candle is put in place and blessed. Easter Sunday 12 noon, Ballinlough, Blessing of Easter Water, Paschal Candle put in place and Blessed.

Confirmation: Sincere thanks to Arch Bishop Michael Neary who visited our parish on Wednesday last and confirmed our children. Thanks also to the children and their families, and to all who took part in the ceremony. Our sincere thanks to all the Teachers involved, and to all who cleaned and decorated the church inside and outside. Many thanks as well to our organist and choir members who provided us with such beautiful music and singing.

New Mass Time Schedule will come into force on and from Saturday 4th April and that schedule will continue for the next four months.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Michael Godfrey, Clooncrim who died recently.

Easter Collection for the Support of the Priest of the Parish will be taken up at all masses on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

CHY4 Forms: Please return the forms regarding tax relief for donations to the church as soon as possible.

Trocaire Boxes: Pleases return boxes to the churches during ceremonies of Holy Week.

Jack and Jill Community Playgroup, Ballinlough are now enrolling for the new school term in September. Please contact Sylvia on 0861982036 or call into the playgroup for an enrolment form between 9.30 and 1am.

Volunteers Needed for The Michaela Camp Summer Camp. If you are over 17 years of age and are free the 20th – 24th of July, why not volunteer to be a leader at this years Michaela Summer Camp for girls. The camp will be held in the Hub, Knock Shrine. It truly is an inspiring and amazing week for both campettes and leaders. If you have any questions please call the Youth Ministry in Knock on 0949388100.

Western Care Association – Charity 25 Card Game will take place in Brickens Community Centre on Tues Mar 31st commencing at 9pm. Adm €5, raffles and prizes.
